RQI-Telecommunicator Program (RQI-T)

Available only through the RQI Telecommunicator (RQI-T) program, Public Safety Telecommunicators can now earn a professional, competency based American Heart Association resuscitation eCredential.

RQI Telecommunicator (RQI-T) is a low-dose, high-frequency, blended-learning quality improvement program designed to improve Public Safety Telecommunicator competency and performance in the delivery of telephone CPR (T-CPR).

Each quarter, Public Safety Telecommunicators must successfully complete an assigned cognitive learning and simulation exercise, demonstrating the ability to meet performance standards for rapidly recognizing cardiac arrest and initiating T-CPR instructions to maintain eCredentials. RQI eCredentials are issued as part of the AHA’s RQI 2020 Program. RQI eCredentials have a unique design that represents the gold standard of quality for learners who have verified competence through active and ongoing participation in RQI programs.
